Big difference!
The front end looks very nice. The front fenders make sense from this point of view.
I still hope they tone down the wheel design, but that fat rubber looks pretty good from the front.

This is all CGI, right? I may have lost the ability to tell the real from the virtual...

If ANYONE was paying attention to the NY City advertisement, The glowing lines represented "AIR FLOW" and the front fenders p[lay a BIG roll in the flow of air...........I hope most of you understand the point, not directed at you posters above, but anyone who is not fully understanding why the car looks the way it does.........

The second picture looks great but the plenum just ruins it. Time to wipe the slate clean and get rid of the awful thing.
Neal, could you work your magic and design a new, simpler, classy grill on the RLX? That would make the image complete.

I disagree. I think this new "minor plenum" looks very good.
When it comes to a flagship, you either go "sport mode" or you go "restrained status"... and I think this grill is very good looking. It is immediately recognizable (in a good way) as an Acura.

Much better looking in these pics. They finally know how to integrate that grille! Those fat tires are very aggressive looking.

It is definitely getting there. This is as close to good looking for the plenum as we've seen so far. It looks far better here than on the ILX and the new RDX.
I think it could look even better if the top of the shield fell below the front line of the hood for a more cohesive appearance. This just seems to draw the eyes away from what would otherwise be a pretty clean front end.

headlights look good, looks like they've been listening to complaints about road presence in comparison to the ls460.

I see that and I see a big and mean Acura bruiser knowing that it's packing inside, and that it'll prolly pull away from me on a curvy mountain road. oh and it'll last longer than my car can too.
GOOD EMOTIONS TO SAY THE LEAST.

These pics look great.
I agree that Acura has finally learnt the grill proportions to most part.
But, I still say the grill looks best on TSX and MDX.
Overall, RLX is a clean design. It now has the elegant look that a luxury flagship sedan needs and finally it no more looks like a big Accord.
Congrats and Good job Acura !! You can now say 'good bye' to the stigma that RL's looks have created for the brand, in the last few years.

Looks fantastic in black. A car with presence...exactly what the doctor ordered.
