I do know this is the kind of sales figures all naysayers love... but just in case, thought it'd be pertinent to remind you that these guys are still in the middle of a rush to build up inventories, and that it takes some time from production recovery to getting the right cars in the dealer lots where consumers want them.
So for the record, here is a brief summary of the past year...
Now, "blind month-to-month comparison lovers", just wait for April 12 and prepare yourselves for a "mind-blowing double digit sales increase" from Honda... just on time with "tsunami-era comparisons", which would be as utterly pointless as past year numbers so many loved to put down to "poor products".
PS: And yes, it's also the highest sales numbers for the Civic since March11, and for the Accord since April11. And yes, given the extraordinary April11 combined with distribution issues and being on its last year with a brand new model announced and a myriad of refreshed competitors down the line, don't be much surprised if the Accord sales are also down in April12.
