To start this off I have knee issues that prevent me from driving a manual.. Before I bought my current Civic I test drove a 06 SI to see if it might be possible and after 10 min took the car back to the dealership and signed the papers for my 08 EX.. I used to own 03 RSX non Type-S and really enjoyed the car and the get up and go that the K20 offered.. Is it possible to swap a K20 including the transmission and all needed parts into my EX(keeping it automatic).. I've asked a few people and they say it's possible but I thought I'd ask here since this where I came when I got my RSX and the people here were very helpful.

Sounds pointless to me for an automatic as you could simply buy a used TSX (w/K24) probably for less and have a much nicer car.

Regardless, I'm sure you can do it. I'd suggest visiting K20a.org first for ideas, very technical board, will defniitely know the in's and out's of the swap you're investigating and can recommend donor cars with the best engine trans combo's (i.e. 07 TSX 5AT).

8thcivic.com may be another resource. Not quite as technical, but definitely more focused on your Civic platform.

Yeah had I found a TSX with in my price range that wasn't racked up in the milage I would have gone that route.. Found this car with only 24k miles on it at 16,900.. I'll check those sites you suggested and TY very much for the help...
