Dang... HMC has a way with acronyms
The got VTEC right... nice and simple.
SH-ATTS was a bit hard to describe to people.
Then they got SH-AWD... again, sort of hard.
Now with the new Super Duper SH-AWD they call it.. Huh?
SH SH-AWD?
Hey, got an idea, let's call it SH2-AWD and go with it...
Just like we called it S2K....

I was always a bit unsure of the name SH-AWD as well. A bit too Japanese ("Super Handling") and doesn't translate well to American luxury marketing.
However, I don't think the new Sport Hybrid Super Handling AWD will be much worse of an issue, as I don't think it's going to be written that way. It will just be considered a Hybrid with SH-AWD. There will be too many technical details to discuss to get caught up in Honda's inside official name.
And as far as the badge, they simply denote it by using the regular badge, but with SH in "blue," indicating the Hybrid part.

And I should add that for discussion on forums I like the use of eSH-AWD, which I think is a good discernment for the way the AWD is being implemented in the hybrid version - electrically.
