I don't think I've ever seen leather cut so poorly as it is on the rear seats, especially on the passenger side bottom bolster. There must be an extra two inches of material shoved in there, on all trim levels. I hope that's a pre-production mistake and not the final pattern. I looks atrocious and will wear really poorly.

I guess you're talking about the wrinkles on the rear seat bench outer bolsters.
Yeah hopefully this is only on pre-production models. It seems the leather is not cut to the right size.

OTOH I hate the two HVAC vents on the passenger dash. I think the overall dash is good except for the vents.

I was actually going to start a new thread on this issue for discussion. My 09 TL has the same issue with the leather bunching up on the corners and no one really sits in the rear of my car as a matter of fact that is how the car was delivered. I have also noticed this on a few RL and TSX models in the showroom. The CUV’s do not seem to have this issue as they have bench type seats in the rear. But IMO this is an oversight on Acura’s part, it simply means the leather was not stretched enough or like others have mentioned cut incorrectly.

Could be pre-production issues. It may also be to preserve side bolster condition for longer. Since leather usually shrinks once it is installed, installing it looser may make the bolsters less likely to wear and crack, since they won't be stretched so tight.

Agree. The back seat on the taupe-colored model is terrible. Giant folds of leather on the outboard seats on both sides. I'm assuming Acura won't release a car in this condition for purchase.
