Well folks nothing to see here.
No Earth Dreams engines = dead on arrival.
2.0L model gives up WAY too much mpg compared to the civic. And guaranteed even the next accord beats it handily. Plus it's still a 5-speed auto, fail.
2.4L still the same engine as the civic SI, rated one less mpg city. Naturally aspirated 4 cylinder that gets 29 mpg in 2012? Laughable. Hell, the 3.5L V-6 on the MUCH heavier RDX gets 28.
Good game Acura, thanks for playing I will look elsewhere.

guys the ILX is not an upscale Accord, that's what the TL is for. Compare apples to apples sheesh.
That being said, the current gen Civic is seemingly beating the yet-to-be-born ILX on the MPG game. Concerns all around.

You're right. The Accord (current generation, mind you) is bigger, faster, AND more fuel efficient than the ILX. Not to mention it has a better suspension system up front. And it will be cheaper.
