Does that mean that this model could/will be sold in Europe under the Honda brand?

It isntīt, Iīm afraid. Honda also protects all American Civics lineup in Europe, and we (fortunatelly) cannot buy it. It is only because of brace Chinese copycat manufacurers.
But there is still a (minor) chance ILX will be next Euro Accord...

Ito-San announced, at the 2012 NAIAS, that Acura will be introduced in Russia & Ukraine next year...
If there is interest in other Euro markets, they might introduce it there.
I honestly can't see Acura's designs being well received in Europe..

It's surprising how popular Acura is in some European countries, specifically the MDX. The MDX is one of the most popular SUV's in Ukraine, at one point outselling cars like the X5, ML, and Q5, all without a single Acura dealer in the country.
Once official Acura dealers start popping up, I can only imagine Acura will do very well. The cars might even be cheaper since buyers won't have to pay the grey-market fees.
So once these new markets come online, that will bring the total to eight different countries (and very spread out regions) that Acura will be sold in.

Acura sells poorly everywhere, America, China and don't exist in Europe.
Did you really name the Ukraine? Europe is U.K, Germany, Spain, Italy, etc...

So I guess you didn't graduate from high school considering that you don't even know basic geography. Acura will only be getting better from here. This is Honda we are talking about afterall, not some company like Hyundai or something.
