Hell, I'm OLDER than he is...
And I still want an 8500 RPM redline...
Oh, the ILX should be a five door hatch with the look of a four door. That would be incredlbly useful.

So...they want the RSX market back after attempting to distance from the RSX market?
Brilliant.

I'm probably older than anyone posting on this site and the car looks good to me. I believe that they have missed their market thinking that only young people are interested in a high reving 6MT. I hate dull cars.

Yep... Our kids are growing up... no need for a minivan and the CRV is useful for vacations but sucks gas around town.
A four door somewhat larger than a Civic, well appointed, with a nice high revvying DOHC VTEC engine, MT6 (*) and an LSD will really satisfy the ticket.
Put in the ELS stereo from the TL too.
(*) Actually, I'd be just as happy with a AT6SS. My experience with the Acura Sport Shifts is quite favorable as well.

I don't get why Acura is trying to distance itself from the Integra and RSX history so much. There is A LOT of brand value from those glory days, and most of those owners back in the 90's are now working professionals around late 20's to early 30's (and more). What's wrong with bringing back a model that they've loved and cherished? Honda apparently thought it was ok to bring a CR-Z back, but Acura continues this sense of "misplaced elitism" (read: you're not Lexus) in trying to distance itself from the tuners.
A serious disconnect from those that fell into the Acura camp in the first place. It's like marrying someone in their early 20's, go through a honeymoon phase and then trying to make em into lawyers a couple years down the line.

Completely agree with you.
Acura lost a lot of brand value when they dropped the Legend/Vigor/Integra names and went into this stupid alphanumeric schema back in the mid 90s.
They never recovered from that.
