Zigzag Asia, the exclusive distributor of the famous Best Motoring videos from Japan, invited the TOV to the Long Beach International Auto Salon to see the Spoon S2000 endurance race car they were going to show. We had seen pictures and heard about the car before, but this would be a great opportunity to see it up close. Note that Spoon is still racing other S2000's back in Japan as we report this. We'd like to give a big thanks to MotoRex for letting the TOV do a photo shoot of the Spoon S2000 at their facilities. They helped with prepping the car and taking off the wheels to let us get a better look at the brakes and suspension.

It's a very striking car in person. On our very brief drive of the car, we noticed that the clutch feels stiffer than stock, but not unmanageable. The steering also feels stiffer and was probably due to the racing slicks. The right hand drive did take some getting used to.
